Marc Marquez is amazing. There is no other way of putting it. The Estoril race is one of many examples of why Marquez is the 125cc champion. There was no qualifying as it was rained off - so he started from far back on the grid. It didn't matter though because as the red lights went out he soon made up places until the race was red flagged for bad weather. So coming out for the second sighting lap Marquez crashed and badly damaged his bike, the handlebars were bent, the brake levers were hanging off and the fairing desperately needed changing aka a pretty broken bike. Marquez then ignored team instructions and rode into the pits and about 50 mechanics from different teams huddled around the bike and fixed it just in time for Marc to complete a warm up lap...and to start from the back of the grid!!. You'd assume from this that he'd salvage a point or two from this race but no. Marquez must watch how Pedrosa starts a race because Marc came from the back of the grid to 3rd in to the first corner!! I though Nico Terol was gonna have a heart attack - but Marquez played it cool for a few laps then made his ways through the other two riders at the front and won.
This kid is gonna be huge!! He reminds me of Dani Pedrosa in many ways but also of Jorge Lorenzo. But truth is if Lorenzo was in that position he would have been too angry and wouldn't kept a cool head like Marquez, Where as Pedrosa would have bided his time (similar to Marquez) then race at a pace he was capable of and pick off his opponents one at a time just like Marc Marquez.
