The 125cc race was good, especially because the race was just so mixed up. Also it was the race where Marc Marquez showed his real class - he crashed then rode the bike back up to 8th place then cut across the track and finish 5th - just to be docked points and pushed back to 10th. Still was thrilling to watch!! At the front the race was good too. Terol & Espargaro were fighting at the front but the battle between Rabat, Webb, Marquez and Krummanacher was fantastic!!
Moto2 race was immense!! All that drama of two huge crashes then the restart. Personally I thought the best rider was Toni Elias - he was so ill and probably shouldn't of raced but that makes him a worthy winner of the race and that race is high in my books because Scott Redding dominated all the sessions and got 3rd place :) Also Julian Simon and Toni Elias just fought it out non stop, either of them deserved to win.
I am a HUGE Dani Pedrosa fan and i'm glad he won this race because last year he had this race won but crashed and finished 10th. So it was like unfinished business - this time he won the race in a very cool way. Initially Ben Spies took the lead but Pedrosa being aerodynamiclly perfect got his head down and closed down and overtook Nicky Hayden, Andrea Dovizioso and Ben Spies. Dani then pulled out a big lead and won it - that set him the new record of winning more than 2 races a season (Woooo). Credit to Ben Spies who finished 2nd - first year in motogp and got 2 podiums. At first I wasn't a Spies fan but i've just about took a shine to him and well the rides he's had on the Tech 3 Yamaha have been great at times it seemed like he was riding a factory Yamaha then!! Last but not least Jorge Lorenzo finished 3rd, I was expecting Lorenzo to go flat out for the win with his Iron Man crash helmet to be honest, but I think this is one of the first races where he started to think about his lead in the championship and just take it easy and not make any mistakes. The weather at Indy this year was scorching which made the track even more difficult to ride but in the end it was Dani Pedrosa who won but to the expense of being absolutely shattered afterwards!! Poor Lorenzo had a dizzy spell as he got into Parc Ferme and then there was Ben Spies who just looked like he'd been for a slow walk and not broken a sweat!!
Indy was no doubt one of the best races this season - there were battles throughout the whole race in each classes which kept me glued to my tv all evening.
